About Us
Our firm has a long and colorful history that began in 1974 when Robert McCullough and David Andrews joined forces to launch the asset management division of Franklin Resources. Three years later they founded McCullough & Andrews, Inc.
Prior to entering the investment advisory profession, Bob was associated with Price Waterhouse LLP for six years as a CPA. For the next fifteen years he worked in the brokerage industry honing his market and investment skills. Dave worked in the investment business for twenty years as an analyst while attaining his CFA charterholder designation. He is also a past president of the Securities Analysts of San Francisco. Together Bob and Dave built the firm based on values of integrity and quality service with an investment philosophy of detailed fundamental analysis.
In 1983 Frank Cappiello joined the firm which then became McCullough, Andrews & Cappiello, Inc. Frank is well known as being a 32-year panelist of the PBS television series Wall $treet Week hosted by Louis Rukeyser.
Following the retirement of Dave and the departure of Frank, we reorganized in January of 2005 as McCullough & Associates LLC. After the death of Mr. McCullough in 2007, Leon Wiatrak and Mavis Sonnier were included as Members of the LLC.
